When I was a young Marine stationed in Okinawa two other Marines got into a fight over a bar girl. One pulled out one of those mechanical pencils (stamped U.S. Government) stabbed the other guy in the chest, punctured his heart and killed him. Gotta ban those pencils. If it saves only one life, it's worth it.

A man named Samuel Sullivan Cox once said some thing like "When laws become lawless contrivances to defeat the ends of justice, it is no wonder that the people resort to lawless expedients for securing their rights." Sounds like a timeless observation to me.
