^{This is a Model 629-4 "Trail Boss". Chambered for the .44 Magnum, this revolver is built on the big N-frame and wears a factory 3" Mag-Na-Ported barrel. The rear sight is adjustable and has the white outline blade while the front sight features a red ramp. This is one of only 500 Trail Boss revolvers that were manufactured for RSR Distributing in the first run. These are the only Trail Boss revolvers without the internal safety lock but still retaining the firing pin in the hammer. All forged parts, no MIM stuff in this gun! The later, somewhat more common Trail Boss revolvers all have the cheaper methods of manufacture and lawyer inspired features. This is a real gun here and I kind of hate to let it go. It comes with the original factory-installed Hogue rubber grips (w/ S&W logos molded in) and also has a unique factory-installed lanyard loop. The overall condition is excellent with minor wear including some small marks above the barrel ports. There are no major dents or dings. The soft rubber Hogue grips show a few surface marks but nothing significant. The mechanics are in excellent working order with good timing and lock-up. The bore is excellent also.
