Bore Condition: Very Good bore with strong rifling and shine throughout.

Matching Numbers: All numbered parts are matching. All parts that are not numbered are matching in wear and patina.

Metal Condition: Metal is in good condition. Original bluing is good throughout with some wear.

Wood Condition: Stock is in good condition. There are two arsenal repairs at the buttplate.

Notes: This is a very nice all original Enfield No1 Mk3* manufactured in India in 1949. Mechanically this rifle is in excellent working order and is sure to make for a great shooter.  It comes with an original Indian manufactured grenade cup that fits the rifle well.  There is a small import mark on the side of the receiver.  These wire wrapped Enfields are a really neat niche in the surplus rifle world. Finding one with the correct grenade cup is hard to do, so don’t let this one pass you by!
