This 28 gauge Fowler - Half Stock has a browned octagon 1" x 31" smooth bore barrel that is fitted with a blade front sight. The bore is very good - shiny and bright. Stamped on the right side flat is Matz and on the left flat is 28 GA. The P+++ Maple stock is mounted with a mix of brass and browned steel furniture, including a poured pewter nose cap. The L&R Late English Double Throat flint lock is activated by a single trigger. Length of pull is 14", overall length is 49-1/2", weight is 9 lbs. Good wood to metal fit - made by Ron Matz - Oregon.
