Once again, we have the honor of presenting, and reviewing, two beautiful knife offerings from our friends at Civivi!
We have recently received the Qubit, and are excited to share it with you. The Qubit is a button lock knife that opens and closes very smoothly. When the blade is exposed and locked in place, it is very secure and sturdy. The Qubit is compact enough to fit nicely in a bag or pocket, as it only takes up a minimum amount of space due to its sleek design. Furthermore, it is tactile enough to easily get a hold of no matter where you may be carrying it. The pocket clip is just right too - it will keep the knife firmly in place but has just enough give to easily access it.
The Qubit comes with a quality, zip up carrying case, a polishing cloth (emblazoned with the Civivi logo), a small pamphlet containing information about the product and the warranty, and some nice Civivi stickers.
The Qubit's open length is 7.19", with a closed length of 4.21". The blade length is 2.98". The blade thickness is 0.1", while the handle thickness is 0.44". As mentioned, the movement of the blade is very fluid.
The Qubit weighs in at 2.82 oz. In person, that seems just right, as it is light and easy to keep on you, but substantive enough when you're holding it. The blade is in a very slick black stonewash finish, made from 14C28N steel. It is a drop point blade with a flat grind. The handle is made from aluminum and comes in an eye catching, metallic red.
Currently priced at $78.70, a knife of this quality, with Civivi's unique aesthetics, is well worth it. The Qubit model also comes in all black, bright blue with a silver blade, and green with a gorgeous damascus blade. Once again, with the Qubit, Civivi is enforcing their motto - "Made Better". We at Armslist love the Qubit, and we highly recommend it along with all other Civivi offerings. You can get yours here.
If you're anything like me, you always have a blade on you. Although, hopefully you treat your knives better than I do. I've always carried a cheap knife, whether they get lost or completely demolished they don't usually stick around for long. That was before I was given the Conspirator by Civivi. This knife has quickly turned into my daily carry. From opening letters to skinning whitetail, the conspirator is my go to. The conspirator comes in a few different material options, all having their own uniqueness. I'm currently carrying the Cuibourtia wood handle with the Grey Stonewashed blade. Cuibourtia wood has a very unique color. Also referred to as African Rosewood, it is certain to draw attention.
The blade is unbelievably sharp straight out of the box. That's why the Civivi has quickly become my favorite fishing buddy. It slices through a can of sweet corn like butter. With all the abuse I've put it through, I was worried the blade would get loose. After a few months it’s still solid as a rock.
Like all Civivi’s incredible knives, The Conspirator comes with a quality zip up carrying case, a polishing cloth, a small pamphlet containing information about the product and the warranty, and some cool Civivi stickers.
The Conspirator’s open length is 8.11", with a closed length of 4.63". The blade length is 3.48". The blade thickness is 0.12", while the handle thickness is 0.51". As mentioned, that blade is strong as an Ox.
The Conspirator weighs in at 3.75 oz. It’s the. The blade is in a gray stonewash finish, made from Nitro-V steel. Making it able to resist corrosion and abrasion while maintaining an elegant look.
Currently priced at $83.00, a knife this durable with Civivi's unique feel couldn’t make you ask for more. The Conspirator model also comes in all black, green wood with a black stonewashed blade, and gray with an insanely awesome damascus blade. Once again, with the Conspirator, Civivi has hit the nail on the head. Always enforcing their motto - "Made Better".
I highly recommend the Conspirator along with all Civivi’s outstanding blades. You can get yours here.
