Olight, renowned for their exceptional line of flashlights, is now venturing into the world of optics with their latest innovation: the Osight red dot sight. Let's dive into what makes the Osight a standout in the market.
The Osight’s most distinctive feature is its innovative charging method. Unlike traditional sights that rely on removable batteries, the Osight charges just like a pair of Bluetooth headphones. It features a magnetic charging cover with a USB-C port that snaps effortlessly onto the sight. According to Olight, the sight boasts an impressive battery life, lasting up to 70,000 hours on the lowest setting and around 400 hours on the highest. With the charging cover fully juiced up, the runtime can extend up to 70 days.
The Osight offers a choice between a red or green 3-MOA reticle, with the green option available for an additional $30. Users can manually adjust the dot's brightness or let it automatically adapt through 10 daylight and two night-vision-compatible settings. There's also a lock mode to prevent accidental adjustments.
Mounting the Osight is a breeze thanks to its compatibility with the RMR footprint standard, and it can easily be adapted to fit a Picatinny rail. The sight provides a wide, clear view through its window, and the durable aluminum housing ensures it can withstand tough conditions. With an IPX6 waterproof rating, the Osight is ready for any environment.
Olight has made a name for itself with EDC flashlights and weapon lights. The addition of red dot optics like the Osight to their lineup is an exciting development, and we can’t wait to see what Olight comes up with next!

Honestly don’t doubt it being a great product. After owning regular day flash lights as well as stream lights with beam and have all operated excelect over the years. Can wait to own this optic and test it.
