So what we have here is a smith and Wesson k-38 combat masterpiece "Pre - Model 15" .38 S&W Secial cal., double action revolver built on a the square butt K target 5 screw frame, 4" pinned and ribbed barrel with marking of "38 S&W Special CTG" on the right side, blued finish 1/8 in. Baughman Quick Draw plain ramp base front with Micrometer click adjustable rear sight, square butt frame with diamond walnut grips and original K serial prefix MFG between 1949 -1957 this is a 1956 date of manufacture. " with that being said, the gun is in excellent condition over all. However the bbl is lose. The gun is fully functioning, locks up tight, shots fine and has no other issues. But the bbl does move very slightly from side to side.". So we are selling this as a fully functional collectors gun or as a parts gun.
