For sale is my personal Dan Wesson 1911 CCO. Was my carry gun off and on for 1.5 years. This is not a Dan Wesson "Blem" gun. Fired enough to trust it, and then carried. The CCO configuration is a 4.25" commander barrel and slide (ramped barrel) on a officer size aluminum lower. I added VZ slim grips to thin up the gun. Factory rips are included. For me, it was the ideal 1911 for carry concealment. 27 ounces. Factory night sights were replaced shortly after I purchased the gun...under warranty...by Trijicon...because two of the three lamps had fallen out. Needless to say, they're bright. Trigger measures at 3.25 pounds and is creep free, crisp, and consistent. Thumb safety is defined and positive. Gun has never malfunctioned. Dan Wesson (CZ) seriously makes some of the best 1911s for the money in the mid-range market. I have springfields and kimbers...and they don't compare. Gun has been carried but between Dan Wesson's super tough coating and my leather/hybrid holster, you can't tell. No holster wear to speak of. No dents, dings, or takedown scratch. Factory case, papers, bushing wrench, oil, and two flush magazines included.
I do have some 45 JHP ammo that I can shed too, as 45 just isn't a defensive caliber for me at this time. At this point I enjoy shooting 1911s at the range but my carry rotation has moved on to other things.
I am happy to ship it to your FFL.
