Kimber Custom Royal 1911.  This is a "series one" gun, before Kimber added the firing pin block...designated by any gun that has II in the model name.  May 1997 production.  Serial number is ~300 units after Kimber switched from the Clackamas to the Yonkers roll mark.  Excellent condition gun.  These earlier Kimbers are thought to have a higher degree of hand fit parts and precision...built with Chip McCormick parts.

The Custom Royal is a step up from the standard classic models, with a polished blued finish.  Not coated.  Not parkerized.  Finish is excellent, free from pitting, thinning, or rusting.  Trigger is 3.25# on my scale.

Includes factory kimber box, baggy, literature, and kimber branded lock. Included are the two factory Chip McCormick shooting star 8 round magazines that came with the gun.  Factory box has matching serial number to the gun and May 1997 production date.  Trijicon night sights were added to the gun in 2012.  Eight year old night sights are getting dim, but still useable.  The factory Kimber sights are also included with the gun.
