This 7.62x54R Hungarian M1944 Mosin Nagant Carbine has a 20-1/2” blued tapered round barrel. The bore is worn but shows strong rifling. The barrel has a driftable front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight out to 1,000 meters. The barrel shank is stamped with arsenal markings and a 1953 date. The bluing on the rife is good with the exception of some wear on the buttplate. The Select Hardwood buttstock does have some scratches and usage dents. The stock has been spliced on the toe. The handguard is in good condition. The numbers on the gun are all matching with the exception of the bolt and stock where no number other than the factory code is stamped. The gun features a side folding bayonet and two sling slots. The gun does not come with a cleaning rod. Length of pull is 13-1/4”, overall length is 40”, and weight is 9.2 lbs.
