For your consideration we offer you an excellent example of a Hi Standard Semi Automatic Pistol. In 1942 The War Department ordered 34,000 pistols for the US Army for basic pistol training for it's simple guns with similar sights as the Colt 1911 as well as the weight and feel which was ideal for new shooters. This beautiful speciment of a this HD Military pistol is finished in a pristine blue finish in 95% condition. The bull barrel measures 6 3/4" with adjustable rear sights. The serial number is 2 1366 for dating purposes and dates this beauty to circa 1937. It ships with factory 10 round magazine.
