Bore Condition: Very Good bore with strong rifling and shine throughout.

Matching Numbers: All parts appear correct and original. The magazine is a USGI marked IS magazine.

Metal Condition: Metal is in very good condition throughout and is all original. There are a couple of very light dings on the barrel as can be seen in the pictures.

Stock Condition: Very good condition throughout. It is free of cracks or damage. There is a nice stock cartouche on the left side of the stock as well as the bottom of the pistol grip.

FFL Status: 03 C&R eligible.

Notes: This is a very nice all original Howa manufactured M-1 Carbine that was manufactured for use by The Royal Thailand Police.  Mechanically it is in very good working order and is sure to make for an excellent shooter.  These carbines were made for the Thailand police and military forces.  This one was issued, but does not look to have seen much use.  There is an arsenal repair to the bottom of the stock that is common on these.  This rifle comes complete with sling and oiler that appear to be original Thailand used.  There is a small import mark on the bottom of the barrel.  This rifle has the groove in the barrel for a bayonet lug, but does not appear to have ever had one installed.
