500 Jubilee rifles were produced to commemorate Mikhail Kalashnikov’s 90^th birthday, which coincided with the 35^th anniversary of the development and fielding of the AK-74 series of rifles. Each rifle is engraved with Kalashnikov’s signature and a serial number beginning with MTK in his honor. The first 100 rifles were finished to Gold Edition standards, the remaining 400 were dedicated to the Silver Edition.
