Here is a bit about the complete upper included in the kit:

This upper uses a nitrided steel gas block from an American Manufacturer as opposed to aluminum, quality American Made handguards, and using a quality NBS M16 profile Black Nitride BCG paired with a 416R Stainless Steel Midlength barrel chambered in 5.56 with a 1:8 twist rate. The 1:8 twist provides the shooter the freedom to pick from a wider selection of bullet weights. From 55gr target rounds to 77gr match bullets, this barrel will stabilize them all.

This also means taking the time to ensure that the upper will function reliably. We use Permatex 242 on key components while using mil-spec AEROSHELL 33MS Anti-Seize grease on the properly torqued barrel nut and muzzle device.
