Appears to be unfired. This is a Thompson Center Hawken Muzzleloader in 45 caliber with Lyman peep site and a 28" hexagonal barrel with walnut stock and ramrod with brass fittings. No FFL required. This is a beautiful and fully functioning black powder rifle that shoots .45 caliber shot or slug. Actual photos.
The original Hawken rifle was a muzzle loading rifle built by the Hawken brothers that was used on the prairies and in the Rocky Mountains of the United States during the early frontier days. It has become synonymous with the "plains rifle", the buffalo gun, and the fur trapper's gun. Developed in the 1820s, it was eventually displaced by breechloaders and lever actionu rifles which flourished after the Civil War.
This one is very clean. I does not look like it's been fired. Buyer pays actual shipping to anywhere in the continental U.S.
