In a perfect world, everything that you buy, sight unseen, would be as described. But that's not always the case. I purchased this Colt Border Patrol as a 95% NRA rated revolver but when I received it I could clearly see that it was not as represented. I could send it to Montana to be re-nickeled at a cost of $1000 - $1500 or I could sell it as is, with full disclosure to someone who is looking for a shooter. I have decided to do the latter.

For additional pictures or to purchase this revolver follow this link to our website: https://www.israel-arms.com/SCARE-COLT-BORDER-PATROL-2ND-ISSUE-p/j450788.htm

This is a Colt Border Patrol factory nickel revolver in .357 magnum caliber and was manufactured in 1971. It has the 4-inch barrel, Target Trigger, Target Hammer, Target Wood Grips, Adjustable Rear Sights, and Raised Front Sights. It shows some wear on the grips and it appears that someone in its past has not stored it properly. Humidity has gotten under the grips and caused some blistering of the finish. This Colt will make someone a good shooter but it will not be an investment gun. I have several investment quality guns on the website if you are a gun investor or collector at https://www.israel-arms.com.

I will take the highest offer over $500 on this Colt. I will not disclose the current offer to anyone as this would not be ethical to other interested buyers. I will keep this listing up until I receive my minimum offer or until the end of May. If I don't receive an acceptable offer it will become a shooter for me or I will ship it to Montana to be re-nickeled.
