We have a vintage Colt AR-15 SP1 semi automatic rifle for sale. This is chambered in .223 Rem with a 20 "barrel. This has serial #SP1940XX and was manufactured in 1972. It has the desirable pre-ban features such as the birdcage flash hider and bayonet lug. The forearm is the early vented triangular synthetic and checkered plastic pistol grip. It has an A1 "Slickside" upper. Elevation adjustable post front sight and windage adjustable two position rear peep sight The left side of the lower receiver is marked with the" Rampant Colt", COLT/AR-15/CAL..223/MODEL SP1" This comes as shown in pictures 1 Colt branded magazine.
