Unadulterated, 45 ACP Trojan. Comes with two magazines and factory grips. Gun was just returned from STI with clean bill of health. It got a fresh extractor as the prior/factory one was not 100%. I also put a fresh mainspring and recoil spring in the gun for good measure.
"Horse Head" rollmark gun, the first of three (chronologically) and most desireable rollmark that STI used on the Trojan (earlier guns are known to have a higher degree of fit and finish). Serial indicates 2003/2004 year of birth. Barrel hood and muzzle show little use. Internals are clean and crisp. Gun runs well. Trigger breaks at 3.25 pounds. Most trojans have target sights. This one is unique in having a more "combat" setup, using a novak low-mount cut. Factory night sights are expired. No longer made, STI Tojans are known as being great guns for the money, common favorites for pistol match shooters. (I own several in my personal collection.) All tool-steel internals, no MIM parts. High undercut trigger guard with scalloped front strap. They give up a little on cosmetics but are great guns mechanically and STI takes good care of their customers if you ever have issues.
I acquired two Trojans from the original owner, a retired LE/SWAT team officer to whom it iwas originally issued. The other Trojan was his issued SWAT (NIPAS EST) duty gun. He liked that gun enough to purchase this one as a personal off-duty gun. The gun has scratches based on use, but is a low round count gun. According to him, under 500 rounds. Mechanical condition is consistent with that estimate.
