This Model 1999 Custom from the Montana Rifle Company is a bolt-action rifle which has been rechambered in 35 Whelen Ackley Improved. A 23-inch heavy stainless-steel fluted barrel is accompanied by a receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Burris scope bases and rings are installed, making this Model 199 Custom ready for whatever optics a user prefers. Users will be glad of the lightweight black synthetic stock, which keeps weight down. Swivel studs allow users to install their choice of slings to the Model 1999 Custom.
