It is designed to be used with one hand with the brace hooked around your forearm for stability. This stabilizing brace is injection molded out of reinforced polymer and is strong enough to stand up against impacts. Because it completely covers the receiver extension, it also allows for a comfortable cheek weld for when you want to take more accurate shots. The Tailhook Mod 2 comes with the proprietary receiver extension, castle nut, back plate, and is compatible with carbine length buffers and springs. The fold out arm on the Tailhook Mod 2 acts as a counterbalance to the muzzle end of the pistol. Because of the new telescoping feature, you can adjust it until it balances perfectly which makes shooting for long periods of time much easier. The included sling loop attachment point can be used for additional stability when shooting.
