This listing is for a vintage, New Baker by Syracuse Forging & Gun Co., twin hammer /rabbit ear, 12 Gauge, 30-inch, side by side/double barrel shotgun. Made in Syracuse, N.Y.

Serial number 33XX. Stamped “PAT’D OCT. 4 1887 JUNE 1st 1880” on the receiver. The checkering on the pistol grip and forend is worn, but retains full patterns. Original black hard rubber butt plate is worn and has a chip on the bottom edge. There is a crack in the stock right behind the screws which hold the hammers onto the receiver. Also a crack in the forend. Scuffs, nicks, scratches throughout. It’s old. The barrel appears to be Damascus but I believe it to be fluid steel made to look like Damascus as was the style of the period.

Used, fair - good condition.
