J Stevens Lever Action .22 LR Single Shot rifle with external hammer. Finish is very good with over 80% original bluing, Case hardened receiver .
Wood Stock has visible scratches and minor dents, Barrel rifling is brite and shiny with well defined rifling, which is rare for this weapon.

This rifle is a "Stevens Favorite" Pat in 1894. Believed to be considered the Model 27. Rifle was manufactured between 1893 and 1939. This model is marked production number #308 and is believed to be manufactured circa 1910.
