Chinese MAK-90 sporting AK-47 semi-automatic rifle. The rifle features a 16 1/4" factory turned round barrel, original sling, milled construction, box and manual. The MAK-90 is a Chinese factory quality built AK model exported to the USA from China from 1990 through 1994 by two Chinese export companies: Norinco and PolyTech. These were made after the 1989 USA gun bans in an effort to meet the “sporter” classification of firearm. The rifles are available in two configurations by Norinco, the more common rifle version with full wood stock and a thumb hole hand grip, similar to the Dragunov Sniper Rifle and then the scarcer of the two, the paratrooper style side folding metal stock with wood hand grip. These Chinese AK-47 rifles have since been completely banned for import in the USA and are no longer available for import purchase, so the remaining supply in the USA from 1994 are the only available for purchase, such as this example. The rifle is in very good functioning and is a modern firearm. $1,700.00
