910900 - Closed European Helmet - This is a European style steel helmet in a design common during the late middle ages. It includes an interior liner and has two front hinges. The first hinge brings the entire front piece forward to under the chin to enclose the helm. The second hinge operates just the eye-slit face plate portion of the armor.

This helmet is solid and made from carbon steel. It is not a toy for sure, but it would be suitable for a medieval fair, re-enactment, as a prop or costume, LARPing (of course), and for display. Also while this kind of historical helmet is not suitable as a motor cycle helmet obviously, it is hefty enough to take a blow in sparing for those who participate in medieval martial arts.

Please note that the helmet is adult-sized and will fit most adult heads without a problem. It will also fit older children and teens, but I would not recommend it for a small child. Also, those unfortunate adults with big old massive heads may find the pivot not wanting to come down all of the way and this will put the visor a little high on the line of sight. Some adjustment may be required in such instances, but everyone else should be fine with the fit.

Please note the price does not include sales tax for local pick ups (Sand Springs, OK 4.867%), or shipping to customers outside of Oklahoma ($25 via UPS).
