According to our research this rifle was built in March of 1972. Remington 760 Pump Action Rifle chambered in .30-06 Sprg. with 22” barrel. LOP is approx 13 1/2”.
Stock finish appears to be partially stripped with some type of varnish remaining in some places (View Pictures).
But there doesn’t appear to be any major dents or dings being present on the stock.
Forearm is in good condition with very minor dent or dings being present and chipping of the finish on the front of the forearm.
A fixed front sight is attached (Appears Broken) as well as an adjustable rear sight (Elevation).
The firearm has been drilled and tapped with weaver top mount scope bases installed. Installed on the mounts is a Tasco 3-9x40 Scope with a Deluxe Reticle.
Bluing on firearm shows signs of heavy sign of wear on the bottom of the barrel where the pump slides along and on the muzzle of the firearm;
which suggests that the rifle was used as a hunting rifle over the years. Minor pitting on barrel.
Barrel rifling’s are crisp & clean with no signs of pitting or corrosion.
The Pachmayr White Line butt plate is in very good condition.
Magazine is in good condition with wear from normal use.
A nice stitched leather strap is included. Overall condition is good. This will make a classic field gun or a wonderful addition to the collection
