The purchaser must use their own credit or debit card for payment. The individual picking up the firearm must be the same person who made the purchase and must complete ATF Form 4473. At the time of pickup, the purchaser must present a valid government-issued photo ID that matches both the name on the 4473 form and the name on the payment card used for the transaction. The physical card used for payment must also be presented to verify identity. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in the cancellation of the transaction without refund.
