Offered for sale is a Ruger Mini-14 serial number 180-71754 (see pictures). You rarely see mini-14's made at the Southport Connecticut plant. 180-71754 was manufactured before 1978. Although it looks much like currently produced Mini-14's few parts will interchange with it.

This one is in excellent+ condition with the deep checkering on the stock. It also has a 2.5-4.5 weaver scope and rings. This scope has clear glass and works as it was designed. This is probably the type of scope that would have been mounted on this rifle in the 1978 era. The receiver is stamped "Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty" so we can assume that it was made in 1976.  The blued finish is in excellent condition. (see the pictures)
