This .50 caliber round is intended to improve stopping power, greatly, at short to medium distances.  It is gaining recognition as a sporting cartridge and is becoming more widely recognized as being usable for a wide variety of North American Game, including deer, moose, and Black bear.

 

This BCA AR-15 complete 12.7x42 rifle has a 16" heavy barrel with a parkerized finish, and features a 1:20 twist rate, with a carbine length gas system. It includes a 15 1/4" MLOK rail, an M4 flat-top forged upper receiver, a BCA bolt carrier group, a flash hider, and a rear charging handle. This 12.7x42 rifle features a BCA mil-spec AR-15 lower.
