Serial #1163199 (matches slide and frame). Egypt contracted with Beretta for 9mm military sidearms. After a few years of purchasing contracted Berettas from Italy, the Egyptian government approached the Italian manufacturer for permission to manufacture a copy of the Beretta M1951. Same as the Beretta, the Maadi Helwan Brigadier was produced strictly for military use. This pistol features a 4-3/8" barrel in "open top" slide, black finish, ribbed synthetic grip panels on beavertail grip, lanyard loop, and notch and ramp sights. This pistol appears to be in great condition! Comes in the original box with (2) 8-round magazines, barrel brush, and manual.
