The Ballistic Research and Machine line of suppressors is nothing short of groundbreaking technology, perfected through trail and error as well as thorough testing. The baffle design not only suppresses the report of the shot, but also mitigates many of the secondary effects that are common with the vast majority of the suppressors on today’s market. When we designed our suppressors, we solicited input from our military, law enforcement and sportsman friends to identify what they felt were the main problems with the suppressors they use.

As a result, we came up with our Air Regulated Gas Bypass system, which not only suppresses the audial signature of the shot, but does it without a significant increase in bolt speed, without a significant increase in chamber pressures or velocity, and without the cloud of gas and carbon to the face that occurs when suppressor manufacturers haven’t significantly updated their designs since the days of Hiram Maxim.

What does this mean for you as a shooter, hunter, service member or law enforcement officer? It means that when you attach a B.R.M. suppressor to your rifle or carbine, you may not experience as significant a change in your point of impact from when you run non suppressed. It means that your rifle will not experience an increase in bolt speed due to spikes in chamber pressure, which results in an increase of wear and tear on your firearm. Because the bolt and buffer aren’t battering the firearm, your rifle will run smoother and longer, keeping you on target more and in your gunsmith’s shop less. It also means that you as the shooter will no longer have to choke on a noxious cloud of gas and carbon blowing back out of the firearm and into your face.
