The “New Model” revolvers have a round barrel and a letter prefix in front of the serial number. Approximately 13,020 of the “New Model” revolvers were made during this production run, numbered in batches of a thousand with the letter prefix. It’s very rare and unusual to find these revolvers, especially in the condition as is this one.
