Here is a real nice piece of history. This is a Lefever Arms Co Inc shotgun, made in Ithaca, NY. I had to reach out to a collectors group to get some information about it.
This is some of what I got back from them: "This is going to get complicated. You have to know the history of the Lefever Arms Co to understand this gun’s value. Founded 1n1883 the Lefever Arms Co built guns in Syracuse, NY until 1916 when they were bought out by the Ithaca Gun Co. Ithaca moved all the equipment and inventory from Syracuse to Ithaca. There, for the next 2 years they put together guns from leftover inventory."
So this beauty is over 100 years old, and in great shape. It appears to be a 16 gauge. If you would like more details or to set up a time to see it in person, please reach out to set up a time.
