Winchester Model 70 chambered in 375 H&H Magnum. The serial number shows the year to be 1965. The stock on this rifle has a name (Phil Potter) carved on the bottom of the rear of the stock. There is an iteresting adition in the front of the stock in the form of a nut imbedded and glued in probably for a bipod. The sock is solid with normal wear and scratching for a field rifle. The bore & rifling look nice and the action is good. There is some rust spotting in the bluing on the top of the barrel in front of the rear sight.  The scope is nothing to write home about, a Bushnell Banner III 3x-9x with Weaver rings. The rifle has a military style old rifle sling.
