LC Smith/Hunter Arms – 2E - Double – 12Ga. - Stk# C485

This 12Ga. LC Smith, Model 2E, Double Barrel Shotgun, manufactured in 1906, has 28-1/2” twist steel tapered round barrels. The barrels are in good condition with the exception of a few small dents, finish wear and minor sporadic pitting.  The matted rib with Hunter Arms, Fulton, NY stamped near the tang, has an insert with the stud of the old bead broke off inside. The bores are in very good condition with the exception of the left barrel having a few small dents showing on the inside. The action locks up tight and functions as intended. The action and side plates have tasteful engravings of a grouse and of water fowl. The side plates both have LC Smith stamped on them. The checkered Walnut forend and butt stock are in good to very good condition with the exception of usage and handling marks. The butt stock is mounted with a plastic butt plate and the forend has an ebony tip inlayed. This shotgun is in very good condition with the exception usage ware. The length of pull is 12-1/2” left trigger and 13-1/2” right trigger. Overall length is 44-1/4”, weight is 7.4 lbs. Our stock number is C485.
