Our Assessment:  The Beretta 84 Cheetah is a semi-automatic pistol that serves as a hallmark of Beretta's commitment to quality and innovation. Designed primarily for concealed carry and self-defense, this compact firearm is chambered in .380 ACP and operates on a blowback system. Its relatively small dimensions make it easy to conceal, while its double-stack magazine offers a generous capacity of 13 rounds, setting it apart from many other compact .380 pistols which often feature single-stack magazines.

Constructed with an aluminum alloy frame and a steel slide, the 84 is a robust yet lightweight option for those seeking a reliable sidearm. The pistol features an ambidextrous frame mounted safety, making it ideal for both left and right-handed users.  The 84 also features a distinct open slide design, characteristic of many Beretta models like the M9, which reduces weight and helps prevent jamming, thereby enhancing the firearm's reliability.

In summary, the Beretta 84 Cheetah stands as a stellar choice for anyone in need of a compact yet high-capacity pistol. It marries classic Italian craftsmanship with practical, user-friendly features. The .380 ACP chambering offers a good balance between manageable recoil and stopping power, making the 84 a versatile choice for various applications, from self-defense to recreational shooting. Its robust construction and thoughtful design make it a go-to option for those who value reliability and quality in a concealable package. Please see our photos.
