Colt Government Model .45 ACP Pistol 
Up for sale is a Colt Government Model .45 ACP Bullseye Semi Auto Pistol. Made by John Giles 45 Shop Odessa, Florida. Has a full rib sight by John with wagon wheel adjusters.

John was a active gunsmith from 1951 to 1983, started 1958 for Camp Perry shooters, and passed away in 2006. He specialized in target pistols, primarily .45's. He made well over 4,000 target .45's in those years. He guaranteed each .45 capable of shooting five shots into 1 3/4" at 50 yards. This was made to be a tack driver like all of his .45's. He was world-renown for his accuracy work on target pistols. Lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and a competitive shooter who held a lifetime master rating. John was the first shooter to shoot his way into the benchrest Hall of Fame.

Just a beautiful piece of history by one of the best gunsmith's of the 1960-1980's. 

These are getting harder and harder to find and more and more collectable.
