Used LNIB Sig Sauer 1911 Spartan - 5" Barrel - 45ACP - Stainless Steel w/Oil Rubbed Bronze Nitron Finish

The legendary 1911 design has been brought into the 21st century with the refinement today’s shooters demand. The SIG SAUER 1911 proves that close tolerances equal complete reliability and need not be incompatible in an off-the-shelf pistol. The pistol features clean, distinct lines that American shooters have embraced, while retaining the crisp trigger pull, classic ergonomics and exceptional accuracy they expect.

Single action only. Stainless steel frame and slide with an oil-rubbed bronze Nitron finish which is a thin layer of amorphous DLC (Diamond Like Coating) that both creates a hard protective coating and enhances lubricity. The low profile Siglite night sights are a great option if needed. The Hogue Spartan grip panels feature the script inscribed on the marble of the 1955 Leonidas monument at Thermopylae with an ancient Greek helmet. The engraved slide features a 24kt gold inlay reading "Molon Labe" which is an ancient Greek saying meaning "Come and Take Them." The beavertail-type steel grip safety has a pronounced bump on the bottom to insure that it is disconnected for firing even if not depressed completely and adds an additional layer of safety. The Spartan's trigger can be adjusted for overtravel and take-up and it breaks crisply and without a trace of creep at a pull weight of exactly 3.75 pounds.
