You are considering a vintage Pre-Ban Belgian FN FAL 308 Match Semi-Automatic Rifle — Manufactured in Belgium and imported by Gun South Inc. This rare FAL (French: Fusil Automatique Leger – English: Light Automatic Rifle) comes with its original manual. Designed by Diudonnie Saive and manufactured by Fabrique Nationale Herstal, this rifle received the title “The Right Arm of The Free World” because of its widespread use during the cold war by militaries of many NATO and first-world countries. This rifle features front and rear adjustable sights and has a 21″ long barrel with an overall length of 24″ when including its flash hider. It incorporates a rotating carry handle, a large knob charging handle, black synthetic furniture including a bi-pod cut forearm. Also included is one 20-round magazine. This rifle is in immaculate condition with very light handling and use wear and only a few light blemishes. The metalwork is original and complete with very light usage and wear but does have a 1.5″ area with a light blemish. Likewise, the furniture is in great shape with very minor wear. The bore is minty; bright and shiny with no fouling or pitting and strong rifling.
