Limited Edition Commemorative WWII M1 GARAND rifle by The American Historical Foundation w/ Display Case.

Description:
It's a spectacular commemorative piece, in new condition, never fired!!  This M1 Garand rifle was intended for show and ceremonial purposes, such as parades and memorial services.  It fits the part with a glossy wood finish, a gold commemorative seal on the stock, and brass hardware, including strap rings, trigger, and sights. The American Historical Foundation issued this limited edition rifle, "IN HONOR OF WORLD WAR II VICTORY, IN LASTING MEMORY OF THOSE WHO SERVED, U.S.," as stated on the gold seal.  You can see in the photos that the wood grain has a rippled pattern called quilting.  This is an excellent wood and gives the gun a beautiful look.

The WWII M1 Garand is accompanied by its original wood and glass display case with a burgundy velvet lining and brass commemorative plaque, which reads: WORLD WAR II COMMEMORATIVE M1 GARAND LIMITED EDITION ISSUED BY THE AMERICAN HISTORICAL FOUNDATION MADE BY SPRINGFIELD ARMORY, INC. The case is in great condition, like new. However, fitted especially for this gun with elastic straps to hold the M1 in place, it has kept the Garand almost flawless.
