TIMELINE in HISTORY:  December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor has just been bombed by the Japanese military. Two days later, December 9, 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt addresses the American people that the US is at war. December 11,1941, Germany and Italy declared war on the US with the nation becoming fully engaged in the Second World War. A massive mobilization effort was put into effect to fuel the US war machine as it entered this Historic Conflict.

This rifle was manufactured in the first month of the US entry of WWII. 

RIFLE DESCRIPTION:  This beautiful 6-digit Authentic CMP “Expert" Grade was hand selected due to its exceptional condition. Upgraded with its new .30-06 Match Grade Criterion barrel which gauges with a ME & TE of “0+” allowing for competition shooting or plinking fun with friends and family. It is guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone’s face upon emptying the en-bloc clip and hearing the notorious “ping” as it ejects.

The American Black Walnut stock features a beautiful eye-catching grain pattern with the CMP Eagle cartouche. The receiver displays an absolute gorgeous charcoal gray tone, with its manufacture’s heal stamp crisp and clear. Its action is extremely smooth and in excellent mechanical condition contributing to the reliability of this iconic rifle.

With some slight battle rash below the wood line which is historically characteristic of a rifle of this age, a truly iconic collector piece of WWII history to be passed down through the generations.
