A truly innovation, this rifle competed with the M-14 for acceptance as the new Army Battle rifle in the late 50's. Designed by beretta, it is highly accurate with a lighter recoil than the M-14, and share designs with the M1 Garand. Since original Beretta receivers were full auto, imported parts kits were mated to a James River Armory receiver for Semi Auto only operations, and results in an incredibly accurate rifle. It has a sold picatinny mount, it's a precise Vortex scope.
