Pederson Custom Model 1000 12 ga. over and under shotgun made by Beretta (model BL-4) and imported by Mossberg from 1973 to 1975 in an attempt to enter the higher grade shotgun market.

This example is a grade III (no engraving on the sides of the receiver), and has 28” barrels—upper marked “M” (modified); lower marked “IC” (improved cylinder); 2 ¾ chambers only. Walnut stock has a few scratches and dents. The fore end removes easily by rolling a small wheel instead of pulling a lever. LOP (length of pull) is 14 ½”. New Pachmayr recoil pad installed in 2022. Weighs only 6 lb. 12 oz. making it one of the lightest 12 ga. O/U—ideal to carry in the field to hunt birds as the original owner did. Recently tested on a trap course and works perfectly—Beretta quality. Both bores are bright and shiny. In overall excellent condition. Serial # A07949B.
