This firearm is a Century Arms L1A1 Sporter chambered for 308WIN/7.62NATO. These guns were built off HESSE receivers and surplus parts kits for resale on the US commercial market. As observed online and through several other sources:

 “The L1A1 is manufactured to a slightly modified design using British imperial units compared to the metric units of the original Belgian FAL.”

Which makes parts commonality a challenge, but not impossible. The firearm features a 20” barrel, 20rd magazine, and a 10 setting adjustable gas block to tune the firearm to any ammunition type.
