Here is an unfired,excellent condition 1873 Springfield Carbine made in Italy by Uberti and imported by Stoeger.This is the model that was used by Custer's men at the Battle of the Little Bighorn.They used copper ballon head cartridges that the extractor woul rip of the bottom of the cartridge making it impossible to get a new round in the chamber to keep on shooting.There were only a few trapdoor rifles with ramrods that got passed around during the battle.Later carbine had cleaning rods stored in the buttstocks.Serial number is:TD03456.Shipping will be $60 in the continental US.We do not charge you any CC fees.Please call Frank Loane Sr. at 410 382 9867 cell for details and to negotiate price.
