The Glock 34 is fairly light in weight for its size, even when bumped up to the 18 round magazine and fully loaded. The balance is distinctly top heavy, as many polymer framed pistols are, especially when the gun is unloaded. This is not to be considered a disadvantage, as many shooters find that it makes the gun more “point friendly”. The Glock grip position has been the subject of hot debate for a long time. While significantly steeper than what had previously been considered “the gold standard” of the 1911, many shooters feel that it allows their wrist to lock into a more consistent position, making target acquisition more friendly. Overall, the pistol is an excellent value; not only is the initial cost of the firearm very reasonable, but when you consider that the 9X19mm NATO ammunition is probably the least expensive and easy to find centerfire ammunition on the market today, the purchase of the Glock 34 Gen4 is really a “no brainer”. When you purchase a Glock, you are going to be pleasantly surprised to find that it’s simply not good at one thing………... it’s good at all of them! For people who are looking for a cost-effective pistol that delivers precision, reliability, high quality, and durability, the Glock 34 should be at the top of your list.
