This is a solid rifle in a powerful caliber meant for serious business. The composite handguard is notched for a Picatinny rail which allows for scope mounting. There is also a hinged butt plate with trap in the butt stock for storing a cleaning kit. There is a gas valve for single shot operation at the range. These rifles are newly manufactured by Springfield Armory, head spaced to G.I. specs, and come in a handsome range bag with magazine storage pouch. There are no rattling butt stocks or chintzy parts like you might encounter on an AR-15. Check out the following videos:
