Like the other rifles in the CZ 600 family, the 600 American is outfitted with the innovative controlled feed system. This design utilizes a short extractor to ensure reliable feeding and extraction of brass and cartridges in any position and during rapid firing. The CZ 600 American’s bolt features a short 60° throw, allowing the bolt to clear the ocular bell of larger riflescopes and promote faster bolt manipulations. Other features of the CZ 600 American include a vertical, tang-mounted safety that can be engaged/disengaged virtually silently as well as locking magazine system allows the firearm to be used as a fixed magazine rifle or a detachable magazine rifle. In addition, the CZ 600 American features a cold-hammer forged barrel with 9/16x24 threads, and offers a sub-MOA guarantee at 100 meters.
