The Ruger Vaquero is a single-action revolver that has been modified for fast draw by the Cowboy Fast Draw Association. The modifications include a traditional hammer placement for quick cocking with the weak hand and includes special " Dooley Gang" inspired wood star grips. 

The Ruger® Vaquero Fast Draw Single-Action Revolver is a fast-handling, handsome cowboy gun. This handgun is built around a stainless steel frame and boasts ergonomic wood grips that are easy to control and offer a natural feel. The reverse indexing pawl means this six shooter is easy to load and unload, while a traditional beveled cylinder won't catch on your holster. A cold hammer-forged barrel has precision rifling for exceptional accuracy. Blade front sight and an integral notch rear sight. The Ruger Vaquero Fast Draw Single-Action Revolver has a transfer-bar safety and loading-gate interlock. Finished with a crescent-shaped ejector rod.
