Colt Government model pistol in 45 ACP made in 1915 over 115 year old, with plenty of service life to provide still. This pistol has been upgraded and modified over the past century. The side and frame are Colt, the rest of the part are a mix of makes. 

Overall condition the pistol shows it has been altered from its original condition by polishing and rebluing. This has resulted in some of the original markings being omitted. The frame looks like at some point was altered by grinding or sanding areas of the frame, especially around the trigger guard and or the trigger guard was modified.

Rather rare pistol, that even in its current modified status, still is a survivor.
