Ruger SFAR

The Ruger Small-Frame Autoloading Rifle (SFAR) chambered in .308 Winchester with a 16-inch barrel delivers big-bore performance in a lightweight, compact package. Designed to combine the power of .308 with the handling characteristics of a standard AR-15, the SFAR features a monolithic 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver and a CNC-machined bolt carrier group optimized for the .308 cartridge, all while maintaining a smaller, more manageable footprint than traditional AR-10 platforms.

This variant features a cold hammer-forged 16" barrel, constructed from chrome-moly steel with a 1:10" twist, ideal for a variety of .308 loads. It comes equipped with a Ruger 2-port Boomer muzzle brake, significantly reducing recoil and muzzle rise, making it faster and easier to stay on target during rapid fire.

Additional features include:

• Free-floating 15" aluminum handguard with M-LOK® slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions
• Magpul MOE SL stock and grip for improved ergonomics and comfort
• Adjustable gas block with four settings to fine-tune performance with different ammo or suppressor use
• Ruger’s Elite 452® 2-stage trigger, offering a crisp, clean break
